January will be a notable month for A$AP Rocky. Over the weekend, “Saturday Night Live” revealed the special guests for its first episode of 2026, where the Harlem rapper is scheduled to perform.

The episode is set to air on Jan. 17, 2026—just one day after the release of his album, Don’t Be Dumb—suggesting he may showcase material from the project. “Stranger Things” actor Finn Wolfhard will host the episode, following the series finale on Dec. 31.

Commenters on the announcement post expressed excitement, with one noting, “Yeah, Rocky is dropping that album,” and another saying, “FINN AND ASAP ROCKY?? OMGG??”

So far, it has been confirmed that Don’t Be Dumb will feature 15 tracks on its standard edition, along with two additional tracks on Side B. Pre-release singles like “HIGHJACK” featuring Jessica Pratt, “Ruby Rosary” with J. Cole, and “pray4dagang” might be included in the final tracklist, although none have been officially confirmed. There are also indications of a possible collaboration with Playboi Carti based on Rocky’s interactions on Reddit.

Rocky announced, “SORRY 4 THE WAIT, DON’T BE DUMB FINALLY HERE! THANKS, TIM BURTON, FOR HELPING ME MAKE THIS MOVIE! COMING SOON,” on Dec. 16 alongside the first of several album covers. He also hinted at a film or visual component involving Tim Burton, but did not disclose specific details.

Don’t Be Dumb will be released on CD, vinyl, cassette, and all major streaming platforms on Jan. 16. Interestingly, this date coincides with National Nothing Day.

Since its Season 51 premiere in October, “SNL” has featured various musical guests, including Doja Cat as the season opener and Bad Bunny as host. Additional performers have included Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean, Dijon, and Cher.
