Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Tems, is just in time for the 2024 International Women’s Day celebration with her incredible speech at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music ceremony.
The singer was honored with the ‘Breakthrough Woman of the Year’ award at the prestigious event on March 7, 2024.
Following the presentation of her award, Tems made an emotional and motivational speech on stage. She implored women to stand by one another at all times because no one else will. She also added,
“Women should support each other, we don’t have anyone else to support us but ourselves. I am incredibly honored to be in the midst of very amazing women tonight”.
As her inspiration and the first lady she ever met, Tems dedicated the award to her mother. Additionally, she expressed her gratitude to all of her supporters and followers.
