Following the release of the audio a few hours ago, Asake has released the official music video for his latest single, “Amapiano.”
In the Amapiano record, Asake teams up with Olamide to gear up his second studio album, “Work Of Art,” scheduled for release on June 15th, 2023.
The Magicsticks-produced song “Amapiano” is an uptempo contagious song with a ditty chorus by Asake and a sleek verse from Olamide, giving it a unique feel.
Building on a memorable landmark in the South African genre, “Amapiano,” just as the title suggests, Asake gives his fans a classic just in preparation for his second album launch.
Asake in his verse talks about his jewellery collections, while Olamide in his verse “I can never fall, R.I.P. to 44, eh, eh” sends a condolence to the deceased Davido‘s 30BG member Obama.
Ahead of his massive album rollout, “Amapiano” is the third released song on Asake’s forthcoming body of work, “Work Of Art,” which arrives soon.
Following the success of his debut album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe“, Asake announces his second instalment, “Work Of Art,” to complement his dominance.
Asake’s upcoming sophomore album, “Work Of Art,” is a 14-track project that has so far featured Olamide. It was preceded by his previous songs “2:30” and “Yoga,” released in April and January, respectively.
Check out the colourful, Jyde Ajala-directed video to promote the song. The video has some amazing choreography and costumes.
