Album: OMAH LAY – Clarity Of Mind (Deluxe)

Omah Lay has expanded his sophomore album with four new tracks on “Clarity of Mind (Extended),” bringing the total number of songs to sixteen. The original twelve tracks were released in April, and this edition maintains that sequence before adding new material at the end.

The most notable addition is “Back to Lagos,” featuring American rapper Gunna. This track explores themes of fame and ambition, with a backdrop of deep bass and atmospheric guitar sounds. French artist Tiakola collaborates on “Take,” while “Keep Going” offers a positive message about perseverance. The final track, “Holy Ghost Fire,” produced by Lekaa Beats, focuses on a more stripped-down sound with keys, guitar, and violin.

This release comes at a relevant time, as Omah Lay has postponed his remaining tour dates due to a knee injury, and the extended version allows him to maintain engagement with his audience during recovery. Since the original release, the album achieved a personal best by placing twelve songs simultaneously on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and debuted at No. 8 on the World Albums chart.
