Pasuma – PREMIUM

Fuji artist Pasuma has released a new record titled “PREMIUM.” The title suggests high quality, and the song reflects a sense of distinction.

Having been a significant figure in Nigerian fuji music for decades, Pasuma continues to attract audiences at major events. His nickname, Oganla, reflects his self-perception, making the title fitting for his standing in the industry.

The beat features talking drums and heavy percussion, with deep bass providing a solid foundation, while keys or horns add an additional layer. The sound is rich and vibrant, quickly creating a party atmosphere.

Pasuma begins with his distinct, commanding voice, conveying the authority that comes from his experience. His praise-singing style flows seamlessly with the rhythm.

There are no featured artists, allowing him to maintain control over the message. The lyrics convey themes of status, success, and appreciating the finer aspects of life, expressed in a proud manner without being ostentatious. The repetition of the title in the hook makes it memorable after just one listen.
