Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has become a sponsor in the Ghana’s Premier League with a $6million Investment.
The star who is an acute businessman has through his online gaming platform ‘BetPawa’ Invested $6milion to become a major sponsor of Ghana’s Premier League.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced this on their Instagram page as well as at a formal signing event in Accra, ahead of the 2022–23 season’s start on September 2. According to reports, the three-year contract will cost $6 million.
The partnership will concentrate on “appropriately marketing and positioning the elite league to become one of the most successful and attractive on the continent,” according to the GFA.
Mr Eazi on his part said: “The company’s high appetite for growing and harnessing talents, creating opportunities, and rewarding fans across its markets are a few of the many reasons for partnering with the GFA.”

In addition to the venture capital business Zagadat Capital and the emPawa Africa incubator program, Mr. Eazi boasts a diverse portfolio of investments. In order to provide clients with a variety of payment options, betPawa signed an agreement with MTN Rwanda’s fintech subsidiary Mobile Money Rwanda in June.
