WurlD – Da Da

Nigerian musician and vocalist WurlD has released a new record titled “Da Da.”

WurlD, whose real name is Sadiq Onifade and who hails from Lagos, has established his reputation through a mix of Afrobeats, R&B, and soul. He received the Best Male Vocal Performance award at the 2019 Headies for his track “Wishes and Butterflies.”

Additionally, he co-wrote Davido’s “Blow My Mind” and collaborated with Sarz on the popular song “Mad.” His 2015 song “Follow You” featuring Gromee even made it into the top 20 in Poland. The track showcases light percussion and warm keys that support his vocals without overwhelming them.

WurlD’s singing style typically features a relaxed, romantic tone, with melodies that are easy to remember and hooks that linger after just one listen.

“Da Da” presents itself as a smooth Afrosoul record from an experienced artist who is well aware of his musical style. The song is catchy and suitable for repeated listening.
