Drake Not The Father Of Keshia Chanté’s Child, Rep Says “It’s False”

Drake is not anticipated to have another child in the near future, particularly not with Keshia Chanté. On Tuesday (Oct. 6), a representative for the rapper addressed rumors that he is the father of the Canadian singer’s upcoming child.

“It’s false,” the spokesperson stated to People regarding the speculation about Drake. Another representative for The Agency Group, which represents the Toronto rapper among other stars, also informed TMZ that the circulating reports are “inaccurate.” Consequently, it appears that Adonis will not be gaining a sibling at this time, at least as far as public knowledge goes.

The speculation about Drake potentially being the father of Keshia Chanté’s child was fueled by fans interpreting the language in Chanté’s general Instagram post as confirmation. She posted, “Mommy and Daddy are so excited to welcome you into the world. Oh, and we’ve already got you booked and busy. Dada’s got your studio locked, and we expect your album to drop summer 2027.”

Chanté’s caption continued with, “To my sweet baby, I am sooo in love. I can’t wait to meet you! I am grateful and honored you chose me to be your mommy. I’ve spent every day daydreaming about you and all the fun adventures I want to take you on. I’m so excited to make holidays special, create beautiful memories, and experience life through your eyes.”

Drake and Keshia Chanté have a long history together. According to Complex, the Grammy-winning artist referred to her as his “first girlfriend” during his All-Canadian North Stars concert in 2022. Additionally, some may recall the 2018 song “In My Feelings,” in which Drake included lines like, “Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding? / Say you’ll never ever leave from beside me / ‘Cause I want ya, and I need ya.” Notably, Chanté’s nickname is Kiki.
