Qing Madi – Can’t Wait ft. Djames

Nigerian singer and songwriter Qing Madi collaborates with British-Nigerian DJ and producer DJames on their new single, “Can’t Wait,” which was released on October 1, 2026. This track continues the partnership between the two artists, who previously gained attention with their earlier collaboration.

“Can’t Wait” follows their 2024 release, “Love Me,” from DJames’ Grateful EP. The new single features a smooth and easygoing style, combining Qing Madi’s R&B-influenced vocals with DJames’ Afrobeats production.

The track is built on a mid-tempo groove that creates a feel-good atmosphere while maintaining the polished vocal quality that Qing Madi is known for. DJames provides a rhythmic foundation that keeps the piece dynamic while allowing the vocals to take center stage.

This release marks another development in the musical collaboration between Qing Madi and DJames, highlighting their capability to produce a relaxed Afro-R&B sound.

Listeners interested in contemporary Afrobeats, Afro-R&B, or the work of Qing Madi and DJames can explore “Can’t Wait” for their latest musical offering.
