Jnr SA – Ngyozama

Jnr SA has recently released The Remix EP, which features four tracks that reinterpret some of Kabza De Small’s notable hits. One track from this project that stands out is “Ngyozama,” originally performed by Kabza De Small, Sykes, Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter, Tracy, and Thatohatsi.

Taken from his album Bab’Motha, this song was among the most significant on the album and had already become one of Amapiano’s standout records. Despite its strong position within the Amapiano genre, its influence extends to various musical styles. To further integrate this influence into the House genre, Jnr SA has created his own House version.

This remix, like many on the EP, showcases Jnr SA’s decision to avoid the typical Amapiano sound. Instead, he reworked the beat and infused it with a pure House essence, aiming to enhance the song’s melodies and refine its already captivating vocals.

Jnr SA’s remix of “Ngyozama” retains its original runtime of 6:28 and the original vocals while completely reconstructing the underlying elements.
