EP: Skhanga – Zikhonkotha Ehambayo

Skhanga has concluded his musical endeavors for the year with a new collection titled “Zikhonkotha Ehambayo.”

After hearing “Thando Lwathola Kabi” featuring KaMaphanga and Yolokazi, it became clear that a full-length project was highly anticipated. Fortunately, before this anticipation intensified, the versatile singer and performer has released an 8-track EP named “Zikhonkotha Ehambayo.”

When people hear Maskandi, they often assume it is a genre enjoyed only by older generations. However, this assumption is misleading. Maskandi can resonate with a variety of themes and demographics. Its narratives encompass love, hope, work life and challenges, betrayal, and local traditions. The contributions from talented artists like Skhanga successfully address these topics and more.

Regarding Skhanga, he has now presented another love-themed EP titled “Zikhonkotha Ehambayo.”
