Zwid – Phez’ komuntu ft. Limit Nala & Saliwa

Ahead of his upcoming EP set to release on September 18, Zwide has presented a pre-release track titled “Phez’komuntu,” featuring collaborations with Limit Nala and Saliwa.

Despite being in the Maskandi mainstream for less than four years, Zwide displays a level of experience that suggests a longer presence in the scene. He continues to showcase his artistry and enthusiasm for future projects with the impactful release of “Phez’komuntu.”

“Phez’komuntu” serves as both the title of his upcoming 3-track EP and the name of the pre-release. The track incorporates melodies that are foundational to Maskandi music, and the traditional elements throughout contribute to a melodious and appealing single.

Zwide’s music is characterized by a distinctive progressive sound, evident in this track that combines rhythmic beats with Zulu-influenced chants and vocals to produce a well-rounded piece.
