Mthandeni SK & Sne Ntuli’s – Ichunu

August 28 is a memorable date for many listeners of Maskandi music. On this special weekend, Mthandeni SK released “Easy Target,” a well-crafted album featuring a selection of impactful tracks. One particular song that is gaining significant attention on charts is “Ichunu,” featuring Sne Ntuli.

Typically, every album has standout songs, and while some albums may feature multiple hits, it is common for one track to serve as the album’s highlight. In Mthandeni SK’s latest release, “Ichunu” takes on this role as the lead track.

Mthandeni SK invested considerable time in the creation of this song, with efforts beginning in the early weeks of the year. Final adjustments and sound enhancements were completed shortly before the album’s release, which adds to its appeal. “Ichunu” has quickly risen to the top of South African charts and has garnered nearly a million streams within hours of its debut.

Sne Ntuli’s contribution to this track is noteworthy. Her smooth vocals complement the Maskandi style and Mthandeni SK’s delivery effectively. Regardless of musical preference, listeners can enjoy the rich traditional Zulu melodies that define this song.
