Album: Mthandeni SK – Easy Target

Mthandeni SK has released a new collection of music titled “Easy Target,” which is expected to resonate with audiences on dance floors and at festivals for years to come.

Mthandeni SK is recognized as a prominent figure in the Maskandi genre, with a catalog that stands out among other artists in this style. His achievements in terms of music sales and streaming numbers are considerable and hard to rival within the South African music industry, even when compared to popular figures in the Amapiano genre, with the exception of a few international artists.

As a leading artist in Maskandi, he plays a significant role in promoting and advancing the genre. His latest work, an 11-track album titled “Easy Target,” reflects this responsibility.

This album invites listeners on a journey of healing, showcasing Mthandeni SK’s storytelling abilities. It features narratives related to love, emotions, life challenges, family, work, friendships, and betrayal, all conveyed through his distinctive Zulu influences and traditional Maskandi rhythms.

Most of the tracks on the album were created solely by Mthandeni SK, with the exception of two collaborations featuring Jaiva Zimnike and Sne Ntuli.
