iNdoni – Sikhulisa Amantombazane

South African traditional music artist iNdoni returns with “Sikhulisa Amantombazane,” a Maskandi release that emphasizes the connection between music, culture, community, and the significance of nurturing the next generation.

The title translates to “We are raising young girls,” conveying a powerful message. iNdoni utilizes this record to address themes of community responsibility, cultural identity, heritage, and the empowerment of young women rather than focusing solely on entertainment.

Musically, “Sikhulisa Amantombazane” incorporates the traditional Maskandi sound and reflects the essence of Zulu folk music. The arrangement highlights the message while traditional elements contribute to the song’s distinctly South African identity.

Released in 2026 through Indoni Music Production & Events, the track is accompanied by online visual content featuring traditional Zulu ingoma dance performances and community-focused showcases.

With its cultural significance and impactful message, “Sikhulisa Amantombazane” represents more than just a music release; it celebrates heritage and underscores the role of communities in shaping the future of young girls.
