Omah Lay – Gut Genug (Afro Version) (Remix)

Omah Lay presents his unique Afrobeats sound in “Gut Genug (Afro Version),” a remix produced by the Berlin-based trio KITSCHKRIEG, featuring the German band Blumengarten and the music collective 255. The remix premiered globally on August 14, 2026, offering a fresh African-inspired interpretation of the popular German-language song.

The remix reinterprets the original with a smoother Afro-fusion groove, enhancing its rhythmic quality while maintaining the emotional depth that resonated with listeners of the original. Omah Lay’s melodic vocals add an additional layer, seamlessly blending with the song’s European pop roots.

The original track, titled “Gut Genug,” translates to “Good Enough,” and had already achieved international success prior to the announcement of this new version, amassing over 150 million streams and reaching the top of Shazam’s Global Charts. It had also featured a notable remix with UK rapper Skepta.

In the Afro version, KITSCHKRIEG collaborates with Omah Lay to fuse introspective lyrics with atmospheric vocals and modern Afrobeats rhythms. His involvement brings a new emotional dimension to the remix, further connecting it with a broader African audience.

This collaboration underscores the increasing interaction between African and European music scenes. The combination of KITSCHKRIEG, Blumengarten, 255, and Omah Lay in “Gut Genug (Afro Version)” serves as a bridge between German pop and Afrobeats.

With its soulful groove, diverse lineup, and Omah Lay’s distinctive vocal style, the remix marks a notable development for a song that has already left a significant mark on international music platforms.
