Nigerian Chanteuse Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems has sent a clear message to other female Nigerian acts following her BET win in the ‘Best International Act‘ Category as well as a win alongside Wizkid and Justin Bieber for ‘Essence’, in the ‘Best Collaboration’ category.
Recall, Tems won big at the BET Award at the just conclude edition of the award that celebrates black excellence. For the ‘Best International Act‘ Category, the multi talented singer and songwriter was nominated alongside other acts like Fireboy DML, Dave, Dinos, Fally Ipupa, Little Simz, and others to win her first international award.
Following the win, Tems took to Twitter to praise other African female singers who she says inspire her.
