Joeboy has released his third studio album, “La Lavida,” in partnership with Young Legend and Warner Music Africa.
The album “Viva Lavida” is a thirteen-track record that showcases Joeboy’s growth in narrative style, his storytelling skills, and his refined artistic abilities.
Viva Lavida, which translates to “Live Life” in English, explores a broad spectrum of themes, encompassing love and heartbreak, as well as resilience and personal empowerment.
The album’s individual tracks function as segments in Joeboy’s ongoing life story, encouraging listeners to accompany him in navigating the intricacies of existence.
Joeboy’s second studio album, “Viva Lavida,” features guest performances by Olamide, Wizard Chan, Qing Madi, Tempoe, and Elana Dara.
The album was overseen as executive producer by Tempoe; it followed Joeboy’s releases “Taxi Driver”, “SMH”, “Osadebe”, and “Adenuga”.
Prior to the album’s release, Joeboy posted on X.
The Viva Lavida album is exclusively focused on distinctive music. No hidden motives, no underlying agenda, no incendiary comments, no insults. The music is truly exquisite.
This album marks a progression from Joeboy’s previous releases, including the projects “Body & Soul” and “Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic.”
The album “Viva Lavida” is the inaugural release under Young Legend, a label established shortly after his exit from Banku Music, which was led by Mr. Eazi.
