Album: Tyla – A Pop

Global Afropop artist Tyla is set to release her sophomore studio album, “A Pop,” on July 24, 2026. The album is being released through FAX Records and Epic Records, representing a significant milestone in the career of the Grammy-winning South African artist as she broadens her international reach.

Tyla describes “A Pop” as a more personal and confident project, reflecting her evolving identity as both a woman and an artist. The album aims to present a refined version of her unique sound while highlighting her development as a songwriter and performer.

Musically, the album continues Tyla’s blend of pop, contemporary R&B, and South African amapiano, incorporating hypnotic log-drum rhythms and global melodies that characterize her style. The majority of the album was recorded during creative sessions in Los Angeles and Barcelona, achieving a balance between widespread pop appeal and her South African musical heritage.

The 14-track album includes collaborations with various artists, such as Swedish pop star Zara Larsson, as well as contributions from Liquideep, MaWhoo, and Babalwa M.
