Bella Shmurda Addresses Allegations Regarding Lagos House Scam

Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has claimed that he became a victim of a property scam after paying $4 million for a house in Lagos, only to later find out that the seller reportedly did not have legal ownership of the property.

The Afrobeats artist shared his experience during an emotional Instagram Live session, expressing his frustration over the situation and seeking assistance because he is concerned about losing his significant investment.

Bella Shmurda stated that the money represented years of hard work and referred to the incident as one of the most challenging moments in his life.

He indicated that he has instructed his legal team to investigate the transaction and decide on the next steps.

He said, “Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property. And now the seller has disappeared. Please, help me. Someone step in. I’ve got nothing left. I worked for years for this. I can’t lose $4 million like that. I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation.”

The singer did not reveal the identity of the person who allegedly sold him the property or provide specific details about the house or the circumstances of the transaction.

At the time of this report, the allegations remain unverified. No official statement has been released by law enforcement authorities, and no one has publicly responded to Bella Shmurda’s claims.

The situation has generated significant reactions on social media, with fans showing sympathy for the singer and calling for a thorough investigation into the alleged property fraud.
