BNXN States That NBA Players Have Superior Financial Status

Afrobeats singer BNXN has commented on the ongoing debate about whether musicians or athletes are wealthier, asserting that NBA players possess a level of wealth that most Nigerian artists cannot reach.

During a livestream with popular streamer Ojo, BNXN shared insights about music, fame, and life behind the scenes for several hours. Drawing from his personal experiences, he highlighted his friendships with several NBA players, which have allowed him to see the scale of wealth enjoyed by professional basketball stars.

“I am friends with a few NBA players. These guys have so much money. Nigerian artists don’t even have as much money as them,”

he remarked.

While he did not specify any players or provide exact figures, BNXN emphasized that there is a significant financial gap between top basketball players and many Nigerian musicians. He also noted that footballers fall into a similar category regarding exceptional earning potential.

In addition to discussing wealth, the Afrobeats artist updated fans on his upcoming work, indicating that he is in the process of preparing a new album.

“I have a camp coming up in like a few months. It’s kind of how I want to record my album. I want to do it in two countries, mainly Ghana and Barbados. I’m choosing Barbados because it’s visa-free,”

he mentioned.

Though BNXN did not announce a release date or the title of the album, his comments imply that the project is in development, with recording sessions planned for both Ghana and Barbados.
