Portable Addresses The Controversy Involving YCee And Peller

The discussion started when YCee expressed his views on what he called the “Olodo Uprising,” leading to a range of responses from fans and fellow artists.

In a video response, Portable criticized YCee for targeting Peller instead of focusing on his own career development. He noted that YCee did not blame others when his music career was successful, which made his current comments seem unnecessary.

Portable suggested that YCee’s criticisms appeared to stem from personal frustration rather than genuine concern. He argued that a better strategy would be to pray for success and maintain commitment to one’s work rather than criticizing someone else’s achievements.

Additionally, Portable defended Peller against remarks about his educational background, asserting that formal education should not be the only measure of success. He challenged YCee to consider what his own education had resulted in, particularly regarding material gains like car ownership.

He also claimed that some public figures intentionally create controversies on social media to maintain relevance and attract attention.

He stated:

“When YCee was successful, he didn’t blame anyone else. When things are going well for you, you don’t blame others, but now that things are tough for him, he’s blaming Peller. Why not ask God for grace? You criticize Peller for not being educated, but what has your education achieved for you? How many cars do you have? Some people seek attention when they want to trend.”
