FKA twigs – On Your Mind ft. Lil Yachty

FKA twigs and Lil Yachty create an unexpected yet interesting collaboration on “On Your Mind.” The track merges twigs’ innovative pop and alternative R&B styles with Yachty’s melodic experimentation, resulting in a dreamy sound that suits both artists. This release adds to FKA twigs’ active period, during which she has been exploring various boundaries in music, fashion, and performance art. Conversely, Yachty has consistently embraced new creative ventures. Together, they present one of this week’s more daring releases. The lyrics, such as “Is it heavy in your heart? Why won’t you start dancing? Is there something on your mind? I could feel it from the start,” offer a contemplative tone and provide a refreshing listening experience.
