Nicki Minaj Discusses Her Decision To Stop Attending Church Services

Nicki Minaj has discussed her choice to attend church less frequently, citing her demanding career as a significant factor in this change.

In an interview on the Bryce Crawford podcast, the rapper addressed misconceptions about her religious practices and explained her reduced church attendance.

Minaj clarified that her decision was not due to her fame, as some have speculated over the years. Instead, she mentioned that the nature of her work made it harder to maintain a regular church routine.

As her music career gained momentum, most of her performances and commitments fell on weekends, which limited her ability to attend Sunday morning services.

She stated, “Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church.”

Even though she no longer attends services regularly, Minaj emphasized that her faith is still strong and that she continues to have a personal relationship with God.

Her comments have prompted conversations among fans, many of whom appreciated her candidness about balancing her faith with the demands of an entertainment career.

Throughout her career, Minaj has occasionally spoken about spirituality and the importance of faith in her life, even as she has achieved significant success in hip-hop. Her recent remarks provide insight into how she manages her beliefs amid the pressures of stardom.
