Lil TJay Faces Challenges But Successfully Rebounds In Hip-Hop Trivia

Lil Tjay demonstrates his familiarity with rap knowledge in XXL’s Rhyme and Risk, presented by Stake, despite encountering some difficulties with certain hip-hop questions.

The game follows straightforward rules: players spin a wheel to determine the points available, choose a trivia card, and must provide the correct answer to earn those points. A wrong answer results in selecting a challenge from a hat. The objective is to correctly answer 15 questions or accumulate 1,500 points to win, while answering seven questions incorrectly leads to elimination.

At the beginning, Lil Tjay evaluates the game board and expresses confidence in his chances of winning, stating, “I’m a competitive person.”

However, he faces a challenge right from the first question, failing to identify the city renowned for its chopped and screwed music style. As a result, he has to call a friend and say, “Have a nice day,” leaving his friend somewhat confused by the unexpected comment.

Nonetheless, the rapper rebounds by answering questions about various topics, including the borough of New York City that Ice Spice is from and the color of the light featured on Future’s Mixtape Pluto cover. Tjay demonstrates further hip-hop knowledge by naming the artist who set the Guinness World Record for the most words in a single hit, as well as identifying his role model’s notable 2017 album.

Throughout the game, Tjay experienced a mix of correct and incorrect responses, including facing challenges such as tasting a mystery jelly bean that he found unappealing, remarking, “They went crazy with that one!”
