Rich Home Quan’s AI Video For The New Song ‘Still Dead’ Has Generated A Variety Of Reactions From Fans

A new video for Rich Homie Quan’s song “Still Dead” has generated a variety of reactions among fans.

On Friday (May 22), the estate of RHQ released the video, which draws inspiration from the death of PnB Rock. The visual, created entirely with AI, features the rapper in a cemetery, spending time with his children, and performing in the studio. While intended as a modern tribute, the video has led to disappointment among some supporters.

“Y’all could’ve given posthumous music without the AI. This just made me sad for real,” one viewer remarked.

“This is disgusting,” another commented. “Let him rest.”

However, not all reactions were negative.

“He has young kids,” one individual tweeted. “As long as his estate has authorized it and his family will benefit, it’s okay. He likely was the primary earner.”

Rich Homie Quan passed away in September 2024 due to an accidental drug overdose. Since his death, two posthumous projects have been released: 2024’s Forever Going In and 2025’s Legacy of Hits, a compilation featuring some of his most popular songs, including “Type of Way,” “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” and “Walk Thru” featuring Problem.
