Portable Criticizes Cubana Chief Priest in New Statement

Controversial street-hop artist Portable has once again generated responses online after targeting socialite Cubana Chief Priest, while also presenting himself as a viable candidate for political campaigning associated with President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress.

This statement came in a viral video shortly after Cubana Chief Priest suggested that some individuals within Tinubu’s political circle mistrust him due to his Igbo background and his earlier ties with Peter Obi during the 2023 elections.

The nightlife entrepreneur also mentioned receiving political gifts and backing from supporters within the ruling party.

In his response, Portable asserted that Cubana Chief Priest had been politically used and then discarded.

“They cannot cheat me the way they cheated Cubana Chief Priest. They cheated him and sidelined him. Perhaps the money he provided was insufficient. You even lost an election to an older candidate. Are you the one telling people to vote for Tinubu?”

Portable further criticized Cubana Chief Priest for reportedly lacking a significant impact in his community despite his wealth and influence.

“You went to your village to distribute garri but didn’t drill a borehole for your people. I am a Yoruba man; they should utilize me for this. APC should allocate the funds to me instead of wasting it on you. I am prepared and available,” he stated.

The singer, recognized for his outspoken nature and frequent online rants, maintained that he would be a more effective representative for political engagement if given a chance.

Portable had previously expressed support for Tinubu during the 2023 presidential campaign and has consistently aligned himself with various political figures and discussions since then, often in a controversial manner.
