Award-winning singer and performer Wizkid has responded to reports regarding a confrontation between Burna Boy and DJ Tunez.

Wizkid addressed the widely reported incident involving Burna Boy and his long-time DJ, Tunez, which allegedly occurred at Obi’s House in Lagos during the early hours of Tuesday, April 7. The situation, which has gained significant attention on social media following the circulation of video footage, reportedly began as a verbal disagreement that escalated into a physical altercation, with eyewitnesses noting the involvement of individuals from Burna Boy’s entourage.

Neither Burna Boy nor his representatives have issued any official statement on the matter.

DJ Tunez, who has been Wizkid’s official DJ for years, responded shortly after with a concise but assertive message on social media, stating, “OGBAFIA NUMBER 1 DON WAKE OOO!” which has been interpreted as an indication of his positive outlook despite the circumstances.
