Pooh Shiesty Was Arrested For Allegedly Robbing And Kidnapping Gucci Mane At Gunpoint

Pooh Shiesty, along with his father Lontrell Williams Sr. and fellow rapper Big30, has been arrested for allegedly robbing and kidnapping Gucci Mane and two others at gunpoint earlier this year.

Shiesty (real name Lontrell Williams Jr.) is among eight defendants who were apprehended by federal authorities this week in relation to the incident. A ninth suspect is still at large.

According to the Department of Justice, Shiesty arranged a meeting with Gucci Mane and two other individuals in the music industry (identified by the initials M.M. and B.P.) on January 10 at a recording studio in Dallas to discuss his contract with 1017 Records.

Upon their arrival at the studio, Shiesty and his associates reportedly “executed a coordinated armed takeover,” as stated by the DOJ. Shiesty is accused of brandishing an AK-style pistol and coercing Gucci into signing contract termination paperwork.

He is also alleged to have stolen Gucci’s wedding ring, watch, earrings, and cash.

The other defendants are accused of displaying firearms and robbing the other victims of Rolex watches, jewelry, cash, and other valuable items, while Big30 allegedly blocked the studio door to prevent their escape.

One victim, identified as M.M., was reportedly choked to near unconsciousness during the event, according to authorities.

At the time of the incident, Pooh Shiesty was under home confinement due to a prior firearms conspiracy conviction in Florida, having been released from prison in October 2021 after serving four years.

Investigators gathered evidence to charge Shiesty and his associates, including fingerprints, car rental records, and social media posts featuring the alleged stolen items, which were shared shortly after the incident.

If found guilty, each defendant could face a sentence of up to life imprisonment.

Neither Pooh Shiesty, Big30, nor Gucci Mane has commented on the charges at this time.
