Asake Explains His Reasons For Remaining Single Despite His Fame

Afrobeat artist Asake has shared insights into his personal life, discussing why he has not yet settled down despite his successful music career.

In a conversation with YouTuber Korty EO, the ‘Lonely at the Top’ performer talked about relationships, marriage, and family, explaining how his quiet and introverted personality influences his views on love.

“I plan to build a family by the special grace of God. I think about it every day because I am an introverted type of person who does not go out much. I will meet my wife when God says it is time. God has already written how our lives will go,” Asake stated.

The musician, who has gained recognition both in Nigeria and internationally, pointed out that he is not in a hurry to enter a relationship. He highlighted the importance of patience in matters of love and marriage, acknowledging that the future is uncertain.

Currently, Asake is focused on his music and personal development. He also mentioned that his mother is the most significant woman in his life and a key source of support.

“It is good not to rush things because we do not fully understand His ways. As we are, no one knows tomorrow. For now, my mom is my babe. But when God finally says it is time for me to get married, I will. For now, I am still on the streets,” he commented.

With his music career flourishing, Asake appears to be content allowing love to come to him in its own time.
