Omah Lay Has Confirmed The Release Date For His Album ‘Clarity Of Mind’

Nigerian Afrofusion artist Omah Lay has announced the release date for his upcoming sophomore album, Clarity of Mind, ending months of speculation among fans.

The singer from Port Harcourt confirmed that the album will be released worldwide on April 3, 2026, representing a new phase in his musical career and potentially becoming one of the notable African music releases of the year.

This album follows his successful 2022 debut, Boy Alone, which established Omah Lay as a prominent voice in contemporary Afrofusion. Fans are curious to see the evolution of his “purple” sound since that initial success.

Clarity of Mind will feature 12 tracks, indicating a focused and well-curated project. Three previously released singles will be included, linking Omah Lay’s recent work to this new chapter.

The singles are the spiritually influenced song Holy Ghost, the popular 2025 track Waist, and his latest emotional release Don’t Love Me, all of which have received considerable attention.

In addition to these singles, the album will introduce nine new tracks that are expected to further delve into Omah Lay’s unique blend of soul, R&B, and West African musical influences.

While Boy Alone tackled themes of loneliness and internal struggles, the title Clarity of Mind suggests a transition for the artist, indicative of reflection, growth, and emotional stability. Industry observers anticipate this project may reveal a more centered and self-aware side of him.

The album’s early-April release positions it to influence the 2026 summer music season, with fans and critics looking forward to another significant milestone in Omah Lay’s career.
