Bad Bunny Discusses The Super Bowl LX Halftime Show And Advises Fans To Be Prepared To Dance

In some circles, anticipation for Bad Bunny’s Super LX Bowl halftime performance seems to overshadow excitement for the actual football game. During the official press conference for the event on Thursday (Feb. 5), the Puerto Rican rapper and singer indicated that knowing Spanish is not a prerequisite for enjoying his performance; however, he was less definitive regarding special guests.

The Super Bowl is scheduled for this Sunday (Feb. 8) in Santa Clara, California, and describing the game and its Halftime Show as highly anticipated would be an understatement. Bad Bunny’s profile has risen further following his Album of the Year win at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Previously, while hosting “Saturday Night Live” in October 2025, Benito concluded his monologue with a message in Spanish, encouraging viewers to learn the language in preparation for the upcoming performance. However, in discussions with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden and Zane Lowe, he reassured non-Spanish speakers that they need not be concerned. He stated, “I don’t want to give any spoilers. It’s going to be fun, and it’s going to be easy, and people only have to worry about [dancing]. I know that I told them that they had four months to learn Spanish. They don’t even have to learn Spanish. It’s better if they learn to dance, but I think there’s no better dance than the one that comes from the heart.”

While the headliner is typically the main attraction of Super Bowl Halftime Shows, they are often noted for their special guests. Bad Bunny himself was a guest performer during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira’s Halftime Show in 2020. Fortunately, his music catalog is filled with collaborators who could make for notable cameos, including Cardi B, Drake, and J Balvin. Nevertheless, the artist has kept the details of his guest lineup under wraps.

“You know that’s something that I’m not gonna tell you,” Bad Bunny stated when questioned about his guest list. He further mentioned, “Well, of course, I think I have a lot of guests. It’s gonna be my family, my friends, all [of] the Latino community around the world…the whole country. There’s a lot of people that love me around the world.”

It appears that Bad Bunny is set to engage with an even wider audience on Super Bowl Sunday.
