Qdot Addresses Life Challenges Following A Robbery At His Residence In Lagos

Nigerian singer Qdot, whose real name is Qudus Oluwadamilare, has openly discussed the ongoing trauma he experiences months after a violent robbery at his home in Lagos.

The incident occurred in the early hours of September 28, 2025, and the psychological effects have persisted over time. Qdot shared that the experience has had a significant impact on his mental and emotional well-being.

He mentioned that fear has since become a part of his daily life, affecting his ability to sleep peacefully. The singer frequently wakes up around 2:30 a.m., which is the same time the robbers broke into his home, leading to restless nights filled with anxiety.

Qdot conveyed that the trauma has left him feeling unsettled, with fears that the attackers might return. He finds it difficult to sleep, as memories of the incident replay in his mind.

He indicated that he has been relying on prayer for healing, emotional stability, and peace of mind. Additionally, he emphasized the need for improved security measures to better protect residents from such incidents.

It was reported that armed men entered Qdot’s home around 2 a.m., holding him and his official DJ at gunpoint while ransacking the property. They reportedly stole phones, laptops, and other valuables.

Following the incident, it was found that some of Qdot’s bank accounts and social media accounts had also been compromised, adding to the distress caused by the event.

Describing the incident as one of the most frightening experiences of his life, the singer admitted that he was genuinely afraid for his life during the attack.

Despite the challenges he faces, Qdot expressed gratitude to his friends, family, and fans for their steadfast support during his recovery.

Qdot is recognized for popular songs like “Gbese” and “Alomo Meta,” and he is the founder of the Yoruba Boi Music record label.
