Big Boss Vette Announces Recovery After Overcoming Cancer

Big Boss Vette has announced that she has overcome a personal battle with cancer.

On social media on January 5, the St. Louis rapper shared that she is now cancer-free. She posted a video of herself walking down what appears to be a hospital hallway, supported by medical staff and friends, while wearing a pink hat and a T-shirt that says “F**k Cancer.”

As part of her celebration, someone played her popular song “Pretty Girls Walk,” allowing her to ring a hospital victory bell, symbolizing a significant milestone in her treatment.

Fans were previously unaware of her health struggles, as reports indicate she had been fighting cancer for the past year.

Her public relations representative, Erica Hamilton, celebrated the news on Instagram Stories, stating, “Today is one of the best days. My client turned sister finished her chemo. The strongest, most resilient woman I know. You gave God your worries and He answered your prayers. I thank God for allowing you to start your year off with your journey to recovery.”

Throughout her treatment, Big Boss Vette remained active on social media. In December, she reflected on her experiences, saying, “Embarrassed for what? Life humbled me a few times, but I never folded. Lost people, jobs, love, money… still popped out smiling. You can’t shame somebody who owns their story.”

Regardless of what lies ahead in her career, Big Boss Vette has already achieved a significant victory.
