October’s Very Own is currently engaged in several collaborations. On Monday, December 8, the imprint founded by Drake announced a new collection in partnership with Marvel, set to launch on Friday, December 12.

The upcoming collection will include items inspired by well-known Marvel characters, possibly featuring a character that shares a name with Drake’s next solo album, Iceman. Within the X-Men universe, there is a character named Iceman (Robert “Bobby” Louis Drake).

So far, fans can expect at least one X-Men hero, Wolverine. A post shared on Tuesday, December 9, previewed various items, including a black hoodie and a brown t-shirt adorned with the character and his retractable claws.

Additional items anticipated in the collection include a Venom-themed skateboard, a black jacket featuring Ghost Rider on the back, and several items showcasing Doctor Doom. The full collection will be revealed on Friday.

Earlier this year, OVO launched its Valentine’s Day collection in collaboration with Disney, which introduced several pink-themed items. The brand has also partnered with several college basketball programs, including Louisiana State University, Georgetown University, and Duke University, to produce hoodies, varsity jackets, and sweatpants.

In July, OVO collaborated with Chelsea FC and enlisted Central Cee to model various styles from their joint release, in addition to the NFL and MLB collaborations that occur annually.

Drake has generated interest for Iceman through three livestream events and singles such as “Which One,” the Yeat and Julia Wolf-assisted “DOG HOUSE,” and “What Did I Miss?”
