Megan Thee Stallion has won her defamation lawsuit against Milagro Gramz, whose real name is Milagro Cooper. On Monday, a jury found the YouTuber and blogger liable after two days of deliberation.

According to court reporter Meghann Cuniff, the jury determined that Cooper not only defamed the Houston rapper but also “intentionally” inflicted emotional distress by coordinating with Tory Lanez and promoting a deepfake pornographic video of her. The jury consisted of five men and four women.

As reported by NBC News, jurors initially awarded the plaintiff $75,000, but U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga later reduced the amount to $59,000. Outside the federal courthouse, Megan expressed her satisfaction to reporters. As of the time of reporting, Gramz had not released a formal statement regarding the verdict.

Additionally, it should be noted that in July, Gramz was ordered to pay $5,000 in attorney fees to cover the costs associated with the disclosure of her text messages.

In October, Megan secured sanctions when Gramz deleted “thousands of text messages” despite being required to “retain and preserve” them.

In the original lawsuit Megan filed in October 2024, she accused Cooper of acting as a “mouthpiece and puppet” for Lanez, who had previously been sentenced to ten years for shooting her in 2020. She claimed that Gramz engaged in efforts to “denigrate, belittle, insult and spread false statements” about her.

Megan stated at the time, “It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life.”

During her testimony last month, Megan described how Cooper “created a space for a lot of people to come speak negatively” about her, expressing that she felt ignored following the shooting and that many were making jokes about it.

She shared, “There was a time that I genuinely didn’t care if I lived or died. I felt like no way I mattered. No way I should even be living. I don’t want to be here. I’m tired of waking up. I just wanted to die. I was so tired of being alive.”

The defamation ruling contributes to a series of legal victories for Megan. In January, she obtained a restraining order against Lanez, with a Los Angeles judge issuing a civil order that prohibits any harassing behavior for the next five years.

In March, Plies discontinued his copyright suit against Megan, GloRilla, and Soulja Boy regarding the song “Wanna Be.”
