Chella Hints At A New Phase As He Gets Ready To Launch A New 7-Track EP

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Chella is preparing for a significant moment in his career with the forthcoming release of his new EP, Chella Chant, on Friday, November 28, 2025.

The project consists of seven songs and is expected to enhance the artist’s presence on the global stage.

Over the past year, Chella has established a strong reputation for his fusion of Afro-R&B, Afro-pop, and Dancehall, characterized by smooth vocals and emotional depth, along with visually engaging content. His ability to combine playful elements with deeper themes has positioned him as a notable emerging figure in Afrobeats.

A key factor in his ascent is the success of his hit single My Darling, which has over 60 million streams on Spotify. The song gained significant popularity on TikTok, reached the top tier of global Shazam charts, and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, providing Chella with international exposure.

While the complete tracklist for the EP has not yet been announced, promotional material indicates that it will include the title track, Chella Chant, and popular songs like Loyal. Chella has suggested that the EP may incorporate a more rap-oriented and melodic style, a direction that his audience is eager to explore.

As excitement builds on social media, Chella Chant is anticipated to highlight the artist’s development and solidify his status as a consistent hitmaker.
