Davido Announces His Sixth Studio Album While Celebrating His 33rd Birthday

Nigerian artist Davido has announced that he is currently working on his sixth studio album, which is expected to be released next year, while celebrating his 33rd birthday with a grand event.

This announcement was made during a star-studded party at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, which has a capacity of 21,000 seats and was filled with family, friends, and fellow musicians.

Davido, dressed in a notable green and gold outfit, was presented with a multi-tiered birthday cake decorated with sparklers and a commemorative champagne bottle, while attendees cheered and documented the occasion. Notable guests included his wife Chioma Adeleke, uncle Governor Ademola Adeleke, father Adedeji Adeleke, sister Sharon, cousins, and close friends.

Reflecting on his journey, Davido remarked, “I dropped my first song when I was 17, and now I’m 33. This year is one of my best years ever; I got married to the most beautiful woman, and we had our babies.” He also took this opportunity to share details about his upcoming album. Known for intertwining personal achievements with philanthropy, Davido typically uses his birthdays to support orphanages and charitable initiatives in Nigeria, and this year, he combined personal celebrations with a preview of his future musical endeavors.
