Kiana Ledé’s critically acclaimed third studio album, Cut Ties, celebrated its one year anniversary on Saturday, November 1. To mark its first anniversary, the R&B singer-songwriter revealed that fans will now receive the deluxe edition they have long been looking forward to.

On November 5, Wednesday, she unveiled the project’s showcased artists, all of whom will feature on remixes of three well-liked tracks by fans. Chlöe will also be featured on “Weakness,” where she’ll collaborate with a previous collaborator Queen Naija on “U Can’t Remember,” and team up with BJ The Chicago Kid on “Outta Luck.” In addition, listeners will also receive a completely new song called “Jury.”

Ledé believes that the spooky season has not yet come to an end, as she expressed in a post on Instagram, accompanied by footage of her recording the season’s characteristics in a notebook. She also shared a pre-save link for Cut Ties (Deluxe), due to arrive on November 21.

Cut Ties was a significant milestone for Ledé, particularly as it was her first album released under her own management. She deliberately discarded it around Halloween to symbolize her “affection for horror and macabre subjects,” which, as she clarified, “represent the times love and all forms of relationships have become a little distorted and painful” when held onto for too long.

The 11-track album featured songs like “Space and P**sy” and “Natural,” both of which received music video treatments prior to the project’s complete release. “This album was a pivotal moment in both my life and career,” Ledé said in a press statement about the LP’s expanded edition. “The deluxe version feels like completing the circle, a celebration of growth, healing and the truly amazing support my fans have given me over the past year.”

Chlöe has had a notable string of feature appearances recently. In October, she provided her honey-hued vocals for Honey Dijon’s “The Nightlife.” She later collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign on “WIT IT” and reunited with her sister Halle for the Beyonce-approved “so i can feel again”.
