Famous Dex and Rich The Kid do not appear to be on the verge of a reconciliation anytime in the near future. The former made a series of intimidating statements on social media, which included threats of physical harm and demands for money.

In March 2016, Famous Dex joined Rich The Kid’s Rich Forever Music label under a significantly different arrangement. After an initial period of ups and downs, the pair began working together frequently. During their more harmonious period, they collaborated on their Rich Forever mixtape series and multiple singles. The majority of Famous Dex’s releases have been released through Rich Forever Music.

Things have not been good for a long time, according to Famous Dex. The Chicago native went live on Instagram last Friday (Oct. 31) and first acknowledged Rich The Kid’s contributions before giving his opinion.

He admitted he never expected to create a video like this; Rich The Kid’s life-altering impact was a pivotal moment. I salute him and I love him for that.

Following that, it was all anger and hostility. Famous Dex said, “But, bro, everything you’ve done since 2016? And you think on my mother’s grave, Rich, when I see you, I’ll beat your butt.”

The Dex Meets Dexter rapper continued, “You just scammed us, mate.” Where is my money from Rich Forever 5? Where is my money located? You think I haven’t saved the texts and sent some to my lawyer? That’s really not fair, man. Jay Critch, you and I. I was the best on my mom’s.” We was the s**t bro, on my moms.”

It’s no shock to those who are familiar with his music that Famous Dex would express those sentiments. He told Rich The Kid via Instagram in March 2025 that he wouldn’t even be who he is if it weren’t for him.

It is worth noting that Rich The Kid has had a lot of success collaborating extensively with Migos in the past, as well as with Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar. Famous Dex and Rich The Kid have a history of falling out and making amends, but 2024’s Rich Forever 5 might be their final collaborative effort.
