On Wednesday, October 15, the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers had a very special guest seated courtside. Klay Thompson, an NBA star, received support from his girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.

The “Whenever” rapper, who had previously gone public with Klay in July, sat beside his mother, Julie Thompson, during some preseason action. The Mavericks’ 121-94 victory over the Lakers suggests that she might have been their good luck charm for the evening.

Regardless of the circumstances, fans enjoyed seeing Megan backing her partner, including ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins. Before the game began, he playfully cautioned the Mavericks player to “be careful with spaghetti and catfish,” hinting at Klay’s preference for Megan to prepare for him.

This was the first time Megan had been seen at one of Klay’s games since they had publicly announced their relationship. The Mavericks are scheduled to begin their regular season next week with a match against the Spurs.

Megan’s schedule is likely to be filled in October. On 13 October, which was a Monday, she announced that her annual Hottieween party will occur in Houston on 31 October at night. The Grammy Award-winning rapper hinted that this year’s event will be “bigger than ever,” with a portion of the proceeds going towards her Pete & Thomas Foundation.

She’s also preparing to release an unreleased song that uses a sample from Total’s “Kissin’ You.” Megan announced on Wednesday that her next post about the track would feature a slow-motion video of her walking, along with the track’s release date. “She raps in the snippet, ‘My man, my man, my man, my baby, my baby / F**king me down, spoiling me, driving me crazy.'”
