Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has responded to people who question his skills, confidently stating he has a solid position in Nigeria’s hip-hop scene.

In a recent chat, the rapper, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, passionately talked about his success and how his work has made a lasting impression, especially his popular 2023 mixtape called Eziokwu.

Odumodublvck referred to Eziokwu as a groundbreaking project that changed the Nigerian hip-hop game. He mentioned hit songs like Woto-Woto Seasoning, Blood on the Dance Floor, and Dog Eat Dog as proof of its impact. He believes no other hip-hop project in Nigeria has created as many hit songs.

“There hasn’t been a hip-hop album in Nigerian music that has as many hit songs as Eziokwu,” he stated with confidence. He also mentioned that this project set the stage for his new album, Industry Machine, that came out on October 6.

The new album has 23 tracks and includes a lot of famous artists like Davido, Wizkid, Stormzy, Pa Salieu, Falz, Boj, Victony, Vector, and Ajebo Hustlers. Odumodublvck pointed out that songs like Juju and Pity This Boy have already reached number one, showing yet another big win for him.

In response to the ongoing discussions about his rap talent, Odumodublvck brushed off those who say he isn’t deep with his lyrics, insisting his music speaks for itself. He highlighted that both Eziokwu and Industry Machine show his ability, creativity, and dedication to advancing Nigerian hip-hop.

He finished with a strong message for skeptics: “Every lie they told about me is buried. They said Odumodu can’t rap, but who’s really the one rapping now? ”

With his passionate defense and increasing number of top-charting songs, Odumodublvck remains a powerful and vocal figure in Nigeria’s rap scene.
