A$AP Rocky is grateful to have Rihanna in his life.
The Harlem rapper opens up about his experience with the Swedish judicial system following his 2019 arrest in his new documentary, Stockholm Syndrome, which premiered during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Sunday.
While promoting the film, Rocky was asked how important it was to have his superstar girlfriend’s support, to which he said, it’s “important having that support in real life, you know?”
“It’s amazing and I’m honestly truly blessed, for real,” he told “Entertainment Tonight” of Rihanna, who appears twice in the documentary.
Rocky previously gushed about his “lady” in a cover story for GQ, where he called her the “love of my life.” “I think when you know, you know. She’s the One,” he told the magazine.
Along with Rihanna, Stockholm Syndrome features cameos from Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, and Tyler, the Creator.
“I think making a documentary is all about vulnerability,” he said. “The documentary is all about showing honesty, authenticity, purity.”
Rocky is now looking forward to the next chapter of his career, which includes a new album, tentatively titled All Smiles. “It’s all about the evolution,” he said of his new music. “I just want to make some good music, that’s all. I want to feel great about doing it, and I want people to feel great about hearing it.”
