Tiwa Savage – Addicted ft. taves (Audio Stream)

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage collaborates with Taves on her popular song, “Addicted.”

This sultry and entrancing track, “Addicted,” takes listeners on a journey through desire and emotional dependence, blending polished Afro-R&B and pop elements.

Tiwa’s vocals move smoothly between gentle admissions and powerful emotion, conveying the push-and-pull of a relationship that can be both exhilarating and overwhelming.

Taves’ smooth verse brings a complementary masculine viewpoint, his tone merging harmoniously with Tiwa’s to produce a dialogue that feels genuine.

In a recent interview, Tiwa Savage shared the source of inspiration for the song, explaining that;

This song has an 80s feel, thanks to the drums. It’s a very impressive midtempo album. It’s about being addicted to a love, specifically an unhealthy infatuation.

Feeling extremely dependent on something, you start thinking, ‘How long can I hide this?’ Ultimately, people will discover the truth.

Tiwa Savage’s fourth studio album, “This One Is Personal,” includes the song “Addicted” and features a total of 15 tracks.

Tiwa’s latest album “This One Is Personal” features guest appearances from Skepta, James Fauntleroy, and Taves.
