Reports that 2Baba was arrested in London following an alleged argument with his wife Natasha Osawaru have been completely debunked.

Specious claims originating from Tosin Silverdam, a contentious online figure, initially suggested that 2Baba’s absence from his UK tour on Thursday, October 2, 2025, resulted from his detention. The speculation grew more intense online, with some speculating that the supposed arrest was connected to a domestic dispute with his new wife.

Following reports that he was detained in London, 2Baba appeared in a video with Natasha Osawaru and his close friends to clarify the situation. One of his associates dismissed the reports and was overheard jokingly referring to him as “alleged”.
