2 Chainz – I Wanna Win

2 Chainz I Wanna Win

Chainz is further promoting the upcoming release of his new short film, Red Clay, by releasing another track from its soundtrack. He released the upbeat single, “I Wanna Win,” on a Friday. The song begins with a well-known sample from Crystal Waters’ 1991 hit song, “Gypsy Woman,” with 2 Chainz rapping about his aspirations and the benefits he foresees as a consequence. In conjunction with its release, he published a music video which shows him performing at a youth basketball game.

Viewers in the comments section on YouTube are enthusiastically responding to the track. One fan commented, “You’ve always been a lyricist, I’m a fan of that song.” Shouldering the ATL on his own. Who else does it like Toni. Who else do it like Toni.”

2 Chainz collaborated with Omar Epps to co-author the Red Clay short film. In a statement given to Variety last May, the rapper stated: “I convey narratives via my songs, constantly aiming for listeners to feel enabled to overcome any obstacle. ‘Red Clay’ serves as an expansion of that.” Atlanta is full of resilience, and bringing to life the story of Nook and Bub, ordinary people battling to stay alive, means a great deal to me. It was truly legendary creating this with Omar Epps. The film Red Clay made its debut at the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival on May 3.
