₦40 million Secured? Portable Generates Interest Ahead Of Boxing Match With Carter Efe

Controversial street-pop artist Portable has generated new responses after asserting that he has received ₦40 million in advance of his scheduled celebrity boxing match with Carter Efe.

The boxing event initially drew attention when music executive Soso Soberekon publicly pledged ₦50 million to facilitate the match. At that time, Portable dismissed the amount as insufficient, insisting he would only participate if the financial stakes were increased substantially.

In a recent update, Portable stated that financial arrangements have already begun.

He claimed that Soso Soberekon offered ₦50 million for the fight, while businessman Emeka Okonkwo, known as E-Money, promised an additional ₦50 million and a car if he defeated Carter Efe.

Expressing confidence about the situation, Portable stated:

“I’ve already received ₦40 million from the organisers of my fight with Carter Efe. Soso Soberekon offered me ₦50 million, and E-Money offered ₦50 million plus a car if I beat him.”
